    About The Internship

The exhibition design internship offers the intern the opportunity to participate in helping to create 3D experiences for museum visitors. The intern will gain exposure to a variety of exhibition design methodologies, including approaches for building interactive elements and multimedia experiences. The position will also involve having the intern work across a variety of subject matter areas.

This role is presented in response to a need to grow our portfolio of Flying Fish's touring exhibition offerings. The intern experience should be an enjoyable one. We want you to have fun and learn about the for-profit side of the museum industry - a sector that our museum and science center clients rely upon to be able to offer their members and visitors new and exciting programming.

    Responsibilities

During the course of the internship, the intern will contribute to creative processes involving concept development, exhibit development, exhibit design and drafting. The intern will also participate in assisting with the creation of design proposals and related visuals. The intern will report to the Exhibition Designer, supporting exhibition design tasks as needed, and will work 5-10 hours per week out of our White Bear Lake, MN location.
