    About the Internship

The graphic design internship offers the intern the opportunity to participate in helping to create experiences for museum visitors. The intern will gain exposure to a variety of graphic design processes, including creating graphic elements for exhibitions and working closely with exhibition designers. The position will also involve having the intern work across a variety of subject matter areas with the intern coming away from the internship with a cohesive project for their portfolio.

This role is presented in response to a need to grow our portfolio of Flying Fish's touring exhibition offerings. The intern experience should be an enjoyable one. We want you to have fun and learn about the for- profit side of the museum industry - a sector that our museum and science center clients rely upon to be able to offer their members and visitors new and exciting programming.

During the internship, the intern will contribute to creative processes involving creating graphics for exhibitions, branding and identity, proposals, social media, and general marketing. The intern will report to the Graphic Designer, supporting graphic design tasks as needed.
