Events

Behind-the-Scenes are visits to area museums and cultural organizations. They are a great way to meet other museum professionals, discuss common issues and see the really amazing organizations in Minnesota.

Mixers are unstructured networking events held in various locations, usually at a bar or restaurant.

Network Roundtables are in-depth discussions on specific topics—such as conservation, development and fundraising, or human resources—and are held at a restaurant or bar.

Email us at info@minnesotamuseums.org to host an event or suggest a roundtable topic.

    Evaluating Beer, Evaluating Museums!

We're bringing together museum professionals for a great evening of informal learning, beer tasting, and professional networking.

We all know the importance of doing evaluations at our museums, but conducting them may seem daunting. Not worry, we're here to help!

Join MAM at this year's Summit at Summit! You'll have a beer-tasting experience that will introduce practical evaluation methods that you can use at your museum immediately.

Purchase tickets online ahead of time or onsite on May 13. Non-alcoholic beverages available.

We hope to see you there!
